National Work from Home Week in the United Kingdom was first held in 2003. As the climate crisis escalates, many companies and workers are opting to swap out one or more days a week to work from home and save on the commute. It’s also a viable option for people in creative and tech fields where being in the office isn’t necessary on a day-to-day basis. It’s also where many companies begin, whether on a kitchen table or in a home office.
